Hidden Histories
With Ben Hopley, Izi Thexton & Dilly Dunford

When something is so big and monumental, information gets lost in translation, therefore important details get left out. On the 25th of March; International day of the Victims of Slavery, we unveiled the hidden history of those commemorated but whose slavery history has been forgotten. The cloth covering Robert Milligan states the number of slaves he owned, bringing his history to light.

Carrying on this form of peaceful protest, randomly selected members of the public are sent a piece of red cloth and a website address. The information on the website tells them to cover a statue, from the list provided, in order to unveil the hidden history of other statues who have links to slavery.
