It's 2049, government cuts towards teaching the arts has increased to a point of non-existence. Schools only teach Maths, English and Science. An aptitude towards creativity is frowned upon and quelled. The attitude of this system is shared amongst wider society leading to the eradication of toys, story books and imaginative play.

A growing amount of jobs are becoming automated with numbers set to rise to 70% in the following years. However, jobs in the arts are amongst the least likely to be automated.
